Emilie is captivated by the intersection of science and entertainment, covering the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' annual Scientific and Technical Awards for almost a decade. She writes about the science found behind-the-scenes and within the storylines of TV shows and movies for the Culture beat.
