Syndication to News Organizations: 

Inside Science syndicates its articles, columns, blogs and videos to news organizations. To initiate syndication, or request permission to republish our content (on a one-time or continuing basis), please contact Christina Unger (301-209-3084).

News organizations seeking permission to republish Inside Science content must fully credit Inside Science as the original source of the content, include the author byline, and republish the original, unaltered form (excluding content titles, headlines, or sub-headlines). The reprint format can be seen here.

Citing Inside Science Content or Using an Excerpt of a Story:

Inside Science encourages anyone to cite or link to our content or to copy an excerpt (not to exceed three paragraphs) from our articles consistent with the fair-use laws of the United States. All citations, links and excerpts should be attributed by linking back to the original Inside Science content page.


Images:

Inside Science does not hold the copyright to each image on our website. Thus, images found on the Inside Science website must follow the usage guidelines listed below each image. Images are not required to be used with cited or reprinted stories.


Videos:

Inside Science encourages anyone to embed and/or link to our videos (available via our YouTube Channel). All rights and restrictions set forth via the YouTube Terms apply. The text content appearing under each video on the Inside Science website may not be reprinted unless you are an editor at a news organization (see Syndication section above).
