Make
your own creepy polymer
A polymer is a long chain of molecules, White school glue is comprised of
the polymer polyvinyl acetate. Adding borax links the long chains of molecules
together into a tangled mass that's LOTS of fun to play with.
- Add 1/2 cup water to 1/2 cup white glue
- Mix and add 3 drops of food coloring (if you want it any color besides white)
- Take 1 tablespoon borax and add to 1/2 cup of warm water and stir.
- Add borax solution to water and glue mixture
- Stir as long as you can (it will get tough pretty soon)
- Let it sit for a while.
- Play!
